I'm sure most people don't read Terms of Service, but the info that's come to light (I saw it through tumblr and twitter posts) about devart's TOS allowing user's art to be sold to companies royalty-free means a lot of people have deleted their accounts/galleries.
I've spent a really long time on this website and made a whole lot of friends and built up my gallery from day 1. I don't think I'm capable of letting this account go, my nostalgia is too deep rooted here.
Over the past months I have been slowly cleaning my gallery up bit by bit, putting things in storage. I may just have to do that even further by taking out most everything in my gallery that I submitted before 2012ish. Depending on what I wanna keep in my gallery.
It's a really easy place to keep my artwork on, because everything is just "here" for people to see. HOWEVER I've been trying to make professional connections this past year, and if I want them to see my general artwork, I have to reorganize my gallery for that. Probably I'll keep my OC related stuff kept inside folders, out of the "featured" section, hoping people I link to this gallery don't go poking around in there...
Everything else I will have to resubmit with a big fat watermark because I submit mostly fanart, and I do NOT fucking want devart to take my fanart and sell it to some place like Hot Topic to make shirts with my art without permission
but that means I have to take some time out of doing commission work and making a good enough logo for myself...sigh
